I checked my mail today and got a thick envelope from i-to-i, the company i went through to get my teaching certificate, and it had a congratulitory letter, newsletter, and a chocolate bar inside. I knew I liked the British.

and I keep finding paper clips everywhere.

I found a new app on my phone.

And it merges two pictures together, i like it.

Time to go TEFL it up...

I finally got my TEFL certificate that I finished way back in may, kinda. I forgot to do the post course questionaire so technically i finished it in october. I wonder what my landlord was thinking when a cardboard envelope stamped "royal mail pd. 1 GB" came in the mail... it might be fun to find out.

Oh the weather outside is awesome. I mean frightful....

I went for a drive, which lead to a walk, which lead to getting some cool shots, which lead to my camera freezing. The high was a toe-tingly 9 degrees.

R.I.P. Boomer

He was a wonderful family member. He is running with Buddy, Moose, Urkel, and of course, boog. We will of course see and rejoin him again one day; this is a sad day because we love him so and will miss him with all our hearts. He was such a lucky dog as to have such a loving family to take care of and watch over. some dogs will never know the joy of a forever family and some families will never know a dog like boomer.

based this one off of a pic i took a couple years ago, the colors are a lot more vivid in person but my phone camera isn't the best.

I did this one mainly because i was short on time and this the quickest thing i could do, and I needed an opening piece for the series.

did my first stained glass mosaic for the grad night auction, also this weekend, it took FOREVER! but it turned out pretty schweet.

Art show!

i had my first official art show this weekend and it went pretty well, there was a ton of people there going oooooh and awwwwww.

went back to chalk for this one, it looked really good before i had to cut it up, my teacher said that the AP judges like to see people take risks in their art......not a fan. The cool thing about the way I cut it up is that i used a real tuareg pattern and colors for the background.

took a break from the chalk and tried some paint, we had to do a piece in the style of another artist so i chose Lawrence Yang, he does some pretty rockin' stuff. I still have a feeling that it's not quite done though.

the latest WIP...

so im expanding my horizons with chalk, it works well with my concentration for art, which is the desert.
